Waterfall Edge Construction
A waterfall edge cushion is made with a single seam connecting the top and bottom panels directly to each other. When the two fabric panels are pulled to the center seam of the cushion, it creates a curved, waterfall-like appearance on the edges.

Boxed Edge Construction
A boxed edge cushion is made with two seams connecting the top and bottom panels with an additional piece of fabric between them.

Please note that with a waterfall edge construction, thickness is measured at the center as the edges and corners are slightly thinner due to the 'waterfall' shape.
