Sunbrella Canvas Burgundy

Warmth for Seating That Has Seen Better Days

Rich color can rescue a porch that has started to look tired. Sunbrella Canvas Burgundy (5436-0000) is a dark wine red with a cool, slightly purple depth, and it gives a sturdy old rocker or kitchen bench a polished, traditional feel once fresh cushions go on.

Think about where people actually sit. A long custom bench cushion cut to your size suits an entry hall or breakfast nook. Ladderback and rocking chairs pair well with tie-on chair pads. On a loveseat or daybed, try new sofa seat cushions with coordinating back cushions so both surfaces match.

Styling a Classic Red

Burgundy looks especially handsome in a lodge-style room or on a covered porch with dark stained wood. Cream, camel, and hunter green balance its intensity, and black wrought iron makes it feel formal. For a smaller dose, a few accent pillows in Burgundy on a neutral sofa add instant warmth. Since the yarn is solution-dyed, the red resists fading outdoors, and spills from dinner on the patio wipe up without much fuss. Mildew is rarely a worry, even in humid weather.
