How To Measure For Square Pet Beds

These measuring instructions will guide you through the process of measuring for your pet bed. Our square pet beds require width/length and thickness measurements, all of which can be adjusted in 1 inch increments.
  • Thickness Measurement

    Step 1 - Pet Bed Thickness

    We recommend selecting your cushion thickness first. Our pet beds range in thickness from 2 to 5 inches.

  • Width/Length Measurement

    Step 2 - Pet Bed Width/Length

    The pet bed width/length is measured as shown in the image on the left.

    The best way to determine the proper size for your pet bed is by measuring from your pet's nose to the base of the tail and add 8-12″, depending on the size of your pet.

Use The Right Tools
For the most accurate results, we recommend using a rigid measuring tool such as a carpenter's tape measure or a measuring stick. Avoid using 'soft' measuring tools such as tailor's tape.

Round Your Measurements
Your width and depth measurements should be rounded up or rounded down to the nearest 1 inch as pet bed dimensions on our site can be adjusted in 1 inch increments.
